Meet Lotty and Teddy. Two dreamers – colleagues, lovers and then man and wife – determined to make a difference in their worlds, and to keep the spark In their relationship and their family alive.
But can they do this as academics on a university campus where every well-intentioned thought, each well-meaning gesture and idealistic good deed can have unexpected and long-lasting consequences?

Ryan Craig’s timely new play follows Lotty and Teddy on a decade long romance, picking their way through the professional minefield of cancel culture, gender politics and power struggles that is their very modern workplace and even more modern relationship.

Teddy is played by television favourite Kris Marshall, who has starred in some of the most popular films and television series of the last twenty years, with lead roles in Love Actually, My Family and Death in Paradise. Eve Ponsonby's recent stage credits include Harry Potter and the Cursed Child in the West End, A Midsummer Night's Dream at the Theatre Royal Bath and Shakespeare in Love at the Noel Coward Theatre.

Ryan Craig is one of Britain’s most exciting playwrights, with a nomination for Most Promising Playwright from the Evening Standard Theatre Awards for his play What We Did To Weinstein.

Director Terry Johnson’s recent hits at the Theatre Royal Bath include The Dresser, Mrs Henderson Presents, Hysteria and The Libertine. His plays have earned him a dozen major theatre awards including two Olivier Awards for Best New Comedy, in 1994 for Hysteria, and in 1999 for Cleo, Camping, Emmanuelle and Dick.
