Summer term:
Exploring puppetry, mask work, clowning, improv and some of the best comedic plays of our time - participants will be invited to further improve their performance skills while sharpening their comedy chops. Led by top industry professionals our students will explore what makes an audience laugh, essential technique for an actor/theatre maker when approaching comedy and finally work towards bringing their own comedies to the stage in our end of term building take over.
We are happy to confirm that following last year’s success this Summer term will once again finish with a building take-over. On Saturday 12th July The Egg Theatre building will be given to Theatre School with a full day of performances, exhibitions and activities. Showcasing the work our students have done over the term and celebrating their achievements. Each group will be performing a short piece and all theatre school members will be invited to take part in our popular open mic event
