This term our Theatre School members will be working on one of three productions, performing in our Easter ‘Otherworlds: A Sci-Fi Festival’ (see show pages to learn more).
Exploring theatre making, acting and performance through the lens of the Sci-Fi genre. We will be looking at dystopian societies, the advancement of technology and the very core of human nature. Journeying through remote galaxies and staging some of the most exciting texts of the 21st century.
With opportunities to perform in a mid-scale production, devise, write or work backstage.
About Space Oddity:
Led by a professional director, this group will devise and perform a new piece of theatre as part of the festival.
Join us on an intergalactic, glam rock adventure through the stars.
An abandoned spaceship. A memory echoing through space and time. A final call for help? Or a message that could save humanity? Who was the Major? and what did he want us to know…
