Engage: Masterclasses

Engage masterclasses offer access to inspiring creatives at the top of their game. Whatever your level of experience, these one-day courses will explore what’s possible and build your knowledge.

Led by Kath Montagu - Senior Lecturer in Theatre, Festival and Event Production/ Stage Management at Bath Spa University, and Producer of Notting Hill Carnival at Glastonbury Festival.

This one-day masterclass is open to anyone over the age of 18 either looking to build on their backstage experience/training, or for enthusiastic novices!  

What to expect? Among other things this masterclass will cover: 

• An introduction on the role of Stage Managers and the stage management team on a project.
• How to do a mark out
• Glossary terms
• Brief introduction to Production management

Stage Management Masterclass cost: £50

There will be a break for lunch 1pm – 2pm.

Please wear clothes for a practical workshop, and bring a packed lunch with you (or there are several cafes/shops nearby).
