The opening production of The Ralph Fiennes/Theatre Royal Bath Season sees global star of stage and screen Ralph Fiennes play opposite Miranda Raison in the world premiere of David Hare's new play, Grace Pervades.
Directed by Jeremy Herrin, Grace Pervades tells the extraordinary story of Henry Irving (Ralph Fiennes) and Ellen Terry (Miranda Raison), the greatest stars of the Victorian stage, and Ellen's troubled and brilliant children - Edith Craig and Edward Gordon Craig - who made their own profound contribution to the development of British theatre.
On screen, Miranda Raison has starred in the BBC drama Spooks. On stage she gave an acclaimed lead performance in Anne Boleyn at the Globe Theatre and appeared opposite Kenneth Branagh in The WInter’s Tale and Harlequinade at the Garrick Theatre.
