Green Man is a fast-paced and dark story following Tom, a sixth former growing up in the West Country.
He is struggling with working out who is, who he likes, and what he wants to do with himself once school is done. One day he comes to school to find that his drama teacher has been replaced, changeling-like, by a compelling new teacher.
Things start to fall apart in Tom's life as he is drawn inexorably to this new teacher, jeopardising his friendships and his upcoming A-Level Drama performance of King Lear.
Exploring growing up queer in rural England and the stories we tell ourselves to get by, Green Man shows us the dark folklore lying just under the surface of things.
Directed by Elinor Lower.
