Sheridan is having a bad day. Her church is closing, Adult Social Care are on her case, and she can’t work out which ingredients she needs to make a bomb. With no one else to turn to, she climbs the scaffolding around a leaking steeple with a few questions for Whoever Is In Charge.
Following a critically acclaimed run at Edinburgh Fringe, Scaffolding is an explosive new play about strength, love and community performed by Kerry Norton and directed by Natalie Simone.
Audience feedback
A grandfather to premature twins wrote “[SCAFFOLDING] took us through the full gamut of emotions, being; thought provoking, humorous, touching, sad, disturbing and joyful. It was quite amazing.”
One mother wrote “I knew the actor and writer had to have been very close to someone with special needs by the way the play was written and performed. It was so true in so many ways. I love how your play will reach so many people, and inform, help and make them laugh and cry.”
★★★★ "Achingly lovely” The Stage
★★★★ “Funny, frank and clear-sighted” The Scotsman
★★★★ “Agile, by turns humorous, acerbic and, ultimately, heartbreaking” “the only show on offer where every single member of the audience gets to be God for an hour. Which, let’s face it, isn’t an offer you get every day.” Bouquets & Brickbats
