Summer company is the Theatre Royal Bath’s largest Summer School, in which young people work alongside a professional production team to create a full-scale performance in the Egg Theatre. Join us for a three-week residency and summer school like no other: Where you will have the chance to get a taste of what life’s like as professional visiting company whilst creating life-long memories and friends.
Choose to be part of the cast, where you will develop your acting craft supported by our Artistic Director and visiting practitioners. Or, generate a taste of mounting a production backstage, supported by our creative team.
This year we are thrilled to announce that we will be staging an exciting new version of Shakespeare’s beloved comedy – A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
About the show:
Lord, What Fools These Mortals be!
Join us as we escape our present day worries into a world where folklore and ritual reign supreme. As four young lovers are faced with the prospect of an unhappy life they flee their home and stumble into an enchanted forest where mortals meet fairies, and nothing is as it seems.
A joyous celebration of the classic tale we all come to love. In a visually intoxicating setting breathing new life into the classical words.
