TEDxBath Salon

Building on the outstanding success of previous years TEDxBath is bouncing back in 2025 with a brand-new series of Salon talks. Join us at The Egg theatre for an interactive TEDxBath event, featuring two exciting new speakers on stage in conversation and audience interaction.

Our April 22nd speaker will be Michael Rosewell. 

Michael hails from an ordinary upbringing Bristol – indeed he told me his very first opportunity to conduct was as an 18 year in Brislington – but he went on to conduct Pavarotti, Domingo, Carreras, and then lead the Vienna State Opera. He is currently head of opera at the Royal College of Music.  He now wants to start a new adventure and form a brand new philharmonic orchestra, to try and bring the life-changing opportunity of opera to new audiences.  TEDxBath will be the first time he’s told his story and shared his ideas for next steps, and we’re sure the discussion at TEDxBath will be engaging and inspiring for everyone.
