The year is 1549. Stitching with a needle, a group of women sew elaborate tapestries. Their rhythm is slow and gentle, but the threads they use have the power to change their own lives and the whole course of English history.

Inspired by the tapestries created when Mary Queen of Scots was imprisoned by her cousin Queen Elizabeth I, Bath Spa Productions presents this pin-sharp new production of Beth Flintoff's
The Glove Thief. The intricate beauty of tapestry, forbidden love and dangerous desire combine in this thrilling spectacle of period costume and pulsating theatrical energy.
