Theatre School 12-16 Spring 2024

This is a group for anyone wanting to hone their performance and theatre making skills but not work towards a performance as part of a Theatre School Festival.

This term we will explore all that is uncanny and eerie, exploring Gothic storytelling in theatre and looking at Gothic monsters, their writers and the art of suspense.

Through engaging performance and devising exercises along with script work and text analysis participants will enhance their understanding of theatre making, theatre traditions and the art of performance.

Leading to a final informal sharing in The Egg Auditorium.

As ever, we believe that finances should not impact a young person’s ability to access the arts. Therefore, we offer bursaries for those who require financial support.
