Theatre School 7-9 Spring 2024

A group for anyone wanting to enhance their performance and theatre making skills in a fun, inclusive and thought-provoking environment, exploring a myriad of performance, ensemble and devising skills. Led by an industry professional, participants would be guided through exciting games and engaging exercises. Over the duration of the term, participants will gain confidence, develop their understanding of theatre and be introduced to a variety of methods and skills.

This term we will be exploring all that is spooky and eerie. Delving into a thrilling and mysterious theatre and exploring key characters, themes and worlds which create these states. Inspired by the Theatre School Gothic storytelling festival ‘Danse Macabre: The Art of Darkness’ (April) our Saturday group participants will explore different elements in their weekly sessions leading to a sharing at The Egg Auditorium.

As ever, we believe that finances should not impact a young person’s ability to access the arts. Therefore, we offer bursaries for those who require financial support.
