Theatre School Age: 5-7 Summer Term 2024

A group for anyone wanting to take their first steps into theatre in a fun, inclusive, and thought-provoking environment. Led by industry professionals, participants will be guided through exciting games and engaging exercises learning to free their creativity and expression.

Skills developed:

- Introduction to basic performance skills
- Learning through creativity
- Developing oracy and literacy through storytelling
- Developing social skills and confidence

Summer term Dates: 13^th May – 13^th July.

With fun games, evocative poems, and engaging crafts our 5 - 6 group will learn about the world around us while being introduced to the fundamentals of theatre making and performance. Fostering a creative, inclusive and welcoming environment our young people will sharpen their social skills and enhance their confidence and creativity.

The work done in sessions will lead to an end-of-term TRBTS building-wide take over. A full day of performances, workshops, and exhibitions all created and led by TRBTS members, inviting members of the public to hear our young people’s voices.

As ever, we believe that finances should not impact a young person’s ability to access the arts. Therefore, we offer bursaries for those who require financial support.
