Theatre School Age: 7-9 Summer Term 2024

A group for anyone wanting to take their next steps into theatre in a fun, inclusive and thought- provoking environment. Led by industry professionals, participants will be guided through exciting games and engaging exercises learning to free their creativity and expression.

Skills covered:

• Developing critical thinking
• Learning how to work with others
• Fostering creative thinking
• Improve expression and communication

Summer term Dates: 13^th May – 13^th July.

This term we will be exploring our relationship with the natural world with fun games and performance exercises. Looking at poems, stories and images and bringing these to life through voice, movement and storytelling. The group will be introduced to the fundamentals of stage-craft, storytelling, and performing.

Armed with new skills the group will join our end of term TRBTS building wide take over. A full day of performances, workshops and exhibitions all created and led by TRBTS members, inviting members of the public to hear our young people’s voice.

As ever, we believe that finances should not impact a young person’s ability to access the arts. Therefore, we offer bursaries for those who require financial support.
