This term Theatre School groups will be working towards one of three productions as part of our Theatre School-wide festival ‘Danse Macabre: The Art of Darkness’. A gothic storytelling festival celebrating gothic writers, gothic monsters, and the art of suspense and mystery.
The three shows will perform in rep in different venues throughout The Egg Theatre and the city over the W/c 8th April.
About ‘Evermore’:
Show dates & times: April 11th (2pm & 6pm), 12th (12pm & 3pm)
Performance Venue: The Egg Theatre, Roper Room
‘Evermore’ invites you to step into the world of the macabre, where specters roam, shadows creep and ravens crow ancient warning. Where masked figures strike terror and empty halls whisper secrets never told. Inspired by tales from the fevered mind of Edgar Allen Poe and devised with Theatre School members, 'Evermore’ promises to chill, thrill and delight its audiences. Are you brave enough to step into the chamber of horrors and face ‘Evermore’?
Please note that participants would be expected to attend a three-day intensive on the W/c 1st April (dates TBC) and all be available throughout production week, W/c 8th April.
As ever, we believe that finances should not impact a young person’s ability to access the arts. Therefore, we offer bursaries for those who require financial support. Should you require a bursary, please email [email protected] for an application and to reserve your place while this is being processed.
