In a remote village something sinister is happening. A horrible disease takes hold, turning adolescents into monstrous creatures and striking terror in the heart of the community. Determined to eradicate the spread, village elders resort to desperate measures. But what is the true nature of the ‘Monstrum’? And what is the cost of stopping it? A Gothic melodrama about adolescence and control.
The Monstrum is presented by special arrangement with Berlin Associates.
Please note that participants would be expected to attend a three-day intensive on the W/c 1st April (dates TBC) and all be available throughout production week, W/c 8th April. After February half term additional rehearsals will be added from 7pm – 9pm, only some cast members will be called to those.
As ever, we believe that finances should not impact a young person’s ability to access the arts. Therefore, we offer bursaries for those who require financial support.
