A group for those interesting in the art of crafting a story. For the budding writers who want to sharpen their skills, develop their work and learn new writing techniques. Participants will be explored to a variety of genres and texts and be supported to find their own unique voice and learn to develop their writing.
What makes good writing for the stage? How can we write characters that will capture the audiences' minds and hearts? How do we explore issues that are important to us through a script?
Throughout the term writers will be invited to write employing different styles and techniques, work will be regularly shared in sessions. At the end of the term writers will be given a chance to present their work as part of the Theatre School's end-of-term building take over.
