Welcome back to the 1805 Journal. We hope you've been enjoying your summer so far and that you have all had a chance to sample the exquisite delights of the new 1805 Rooms (GUIDE AVAILABLE HERE). 

We have taken the briefest of summer breaks but we are back with a bang to take you through Deborah Warner's upcoming second season as artistic director of the Ustinov PLUS we will be extending an invite to our Associate members to a very special event...

Deborah Warner is a supremely talented and highly respected director of theatre and opera. Her work has spanned genres, wowed audiences across continents and pushed creative boundaries throughout a decades long career. She has famously worked with such acting greats as Fiona Shaw, Ralph Fiennes, Maggie Smith and Brian Cox. Her productions have won Olivier Awards and received Tony Award nominations. In 1992 she was a recipient of the prestigious Chevalier of the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres and in 2006 she was awarded a CBE for services to drama!

Phew!

All of which is to say that this Autumn/Winter, we shall be in extraordinarily safe in hands in the Ustinov.

Deborah Warner's second Ustinov season again comprises a mix of recitals, plays, dance and opera. It is an incredibly rare treat to witness these pieces played in such intimate surroundings as the 120 seat Ustinov Studio. Here is what to expect this season:
